Quarneri

The most gratifying part of my work is witnessing my patients reclaim their lives—seeing them improve with each session, regaining their confidence, and returning to the activities that bring them joy and fulfillment.

Dr. Paul Quarneri, DC, DACNB, FACFN*

Dr. Paul Quarneri is a San Francisco native with a lifelong dedication to movement, healing, and neurological wellness. After earning his Bachelor’s degree in Physical Education from the University of California, Berkeley in 1990, he pursued his Doctor of Chiropractic degree at Life Chiropractic College West. He graduated Magna Cum Laude in 1996 and was honored with the Clinic Excellence Award, recognizing his outstanding patient care and clinical performance.

Expertise in Chiropractic Neurology & Vertigo Treatment

Dr. Quarneri is board-certified in Chiropractic Neurology, a specialized field that focuses on restoring brain function through non-invasive, drug-free treatments designed to improve neurological health, coordination, and cognitive function. He completed a three-year postdoctoral neurology program through Logan Chiropractic College, taught at the University of Southern California, and became a Diplomate of the American Chiropractic Neurology Board (DACNB) in 1997. His extensive background allows him to assess neuromuscular imbalances, nervous system dysfunctions, and brain-based disorders with precision.

His expertise includes treating vertigo, dizziness, and balance disorders, using functional neurology techniques that help patients regain stability, confidence, and improved motor control. Many patients come to him after struggling with persistent symptoms that traditional medicine has failed to resolve. He also holds advanced certifications in concussion recovery, traumatic brain injury, and complex neurological conditions such as ADD, ADHD, dyslexia, and autism. Dr. Quarneri remains at the forefront of neurological rehabilitation, completing over 2,000 hours of postdoctoral study and regularly lecturing on the latest advancements in brain function, neuroplasticity, and non-pharmaceutical treatment strategies at Life West Chiropractic College.

Helping Golfers Prevent Injuries & Improve Performance

In 2004, Dr. Quarneri became certified in Golf-Specific Injury Treatment and Swing Analysis, helping golfers optimize their biomechanics to prevent pain and enhance performance. By addressing neuromuscular imbalances, he helps athletes reduce injury risk and extend the longevity of their game.

Founder & Director of Neurolink Chiropractic

In 2009, Dr. Quarneri founded Neurolink Chiropractic in San Mateo, CA, where he specializes in neurological and musculoskeletal rehabilitation. His holistic, patient-centered approach focuses on diagnosing and treating conditions that affect movement, coordination, and overall well-being. As a faculty member at Life Chiropractic College West, he has taught Neuro Diagnosis and Management and mentored aspiring chiropractors.

Beyond clinical practice, Dr. Quarneri frequently speaks at health clubs, corporate wellness programs, and community events on topics such as fibromyalgia, adrenal stress, gut health, detoxification, and women’s wellness. He is an active member of the California Chiropractic Association, American Chiropractic Association, and the ACA Council on Neurology.

Whether helping a patient overcome chronic dizziness or guiding an athlete toward peak performance, Dr. Quarneri’s mission remains the same—restoring balance, movement, and neurological health so his patients can live fully.

COMMON

QUESTIONS

WHAT SHOULD I WEAR TO MY CHIROPRACTIC SESSION?

Your clothing choice depends on the type of treatment you’ll be receiving. For a simple neck adjustment, no special attire is required—you can wear your regular street clothes. However, for treatments involving spinal decompression, shockwave therapy, or ultrasound therapy, you may want to opt for loose, comfortable clothing that allows for easy movement.

If your session includes ultrasound therapy or any treatment involving gels, avoid wearing delicate fabrics or clothing that could be damaged by contact with ultrasonic gel. Your comfort is the priority, so dress in a way that allows you to relax and move freely during your visit. If you’re unsure, feel free to call our office before your appointment for specific recommendations!

DO YOU ACCEPT INSURANCE?

We have a fee for service policy, meaning we collect for services at the time of the visit.  If you have a PPO Insurance plan, As a courtesy we do a complimentary insurance verification and will bill your insurance on your behalf. Any insurance reimbursement will go directly back to the patient.

HOW LONG WILL I NEED CHIROPRACTIC CARE?

It depends on your condition, its severity, and your personal health goals. Some patients feel relief in just a few visits, while others benefit from ongoing care to maintain function and mobility.

Now, let’s address the old wives’ taleno, your body doesn’t get “addicted” to chiropractic care. It’s not like a bad habit you need to shake. Think of it like getting your teeth cleaned—you’re not addicted to it, but since it makes you feel better and improves your health, you actually look forward to booking your next visit. Chiropractic care is about supporting your body, not creating dependency—but once you feel the benefits, you might not want to stop!  Don’t blame us for making you feel limber and mobile again.

HOW MUCH DOES A TYPICAL VISIT COST?

Costs vary depending on the treatment needed.  Following your initial exam the doctor will perform a report of findings to review your case in answer four simple questions. What’s wrong with me? Can you help me? How long will it take? And How much will it cost?

Costs vary depending on the type of treatment needed.  We offer affordable cash rates and payment plans if needed.

Don’t forget to visit our New Patient Discount Special page to take advantage of our specials.

DOES MEDICARE COVER CHIROPRACTIC CARE?
